How To Prepare Rivers Native soup

Ingredients For Rivers Native Soup

*:  3 Medium Size of Fresh Fish
*  10 Snails
*:  1 cup of sea snails
* 1 cup of Shrimps
* 1 cup of periwinkles
* 6 medium Cocoyam
* 1 table spoon Uziza seeds
* 3-5 yellow pepper
* Maggi cubes
* Bitter leaves (washed)
* 5 Uziza leaves
* 2 cooking spon of palm oil

Step 1👇🏻
* Cook the cocoyam till soft, peel and pound till smooth with mortar, blender or food processor
* Grind the pepper
* grind the Uziza seeds
* slice the uziza leaves
* cut up the fish and wash clean
* clean all the snail and other things


COOKING DIRECTIONS
# place the snails in a pot, add your seasoning and little water and steam it for 30 minutes
# add the grind uziza, sea snails, shrimps, fish & top up water if necessary and cook till the fish is done and other things
# Take out the fresh fish and set it aside from the pot.
# Add the Cocoyam in small lumps, add the bitter leaves, yellow pepper and palm oil. Cover the pot and cook till the lumps of cocoyam dissolve
# Stir the contents of the pot
#Add salt to taste
# Add back the fresh fish back into the pot of soup and stir gently.
Add maggi cubes


That is it.... And serve with Foofoo, eba, semovita, wheat, etc
