*KITCHEN TIPS*

1. To remove any funny food odours from your hands like fish odour, washing your hands with salt and soap will do the trick

2.when you add too much salt in your soup or stew, slice a piece of peeled potato and put into the pot of soup it will absorb all the salt. (It takes about 10 minutes.)

3. When storing your fruit, Separate your bananas (and store them away from other fruit) to prevent them from getting ripe and spoilt  quickly.

4. The fastest way to defrost meat is under a cold running tap. But if you want to save water and speed things up a bit, place your meat on an aluminum sheet tray or skillet. Aluminum is a great conductor of heat and will draw energy from the surrounding environment into your frozen meat much faster than a wooden cutting board or wood or stone countertop. You can cut defrosting times down by about 30 percent this way. It also works on soups, stews, and anything frozen flat.

5. Slice Avocados in their Skins when using them for salad. Cut them into two and remove the seed before you slice.

6.Use Egg Shells to Remove Egg Shells
The empty half of an egg shell is the best tool to extract stubborn bits of cracked shells that have ended up in the bowl.

7.Want to make hard boiled eggs that are easy to peel?Add baking soda or vinegar to the water when boiling.

8.Can’t get a jar open or a bottle open?
Put a rubber band around the lid, then twist!

9.when washing your Dirty microwave?
Boil some water in it before cleaning.
The steam will help loosen everything up!

10.Need ripe bananas but yours are still green or yellow? Bake them in the oven at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or so.

11. If you have spoilt meat/fish, don't be quick to throw it away. Boil hot water and wash the meat firstly. Then you add salt to it. And rinse again with hot water. Your meat/fish is ready to go.
